The Carter dinnerware line celebrates the art and science of great food and great pottery. The minimalist forms emulate the Bauhaus tenet "form follows function." From the petri dish plates, to the beaker-shaped pitcher and tumblers, each vessel is a framework for its contents.

This clay body resembles the variegated granite found in the Sierra Buttes mountain range, where Richard often retreats. Each piece is glazed by hand to create depth and variety. Flames in the kiln often add an additional flash of color along the glaze's edge.

Please note: glaze may craze slightly with use and is not considered a flaw.
